QRtoCash help

Make a QR code that sends someone straight to paying you.

What this does

Creates a QR code pointing at your payment link. Someone scans it with their phone camera and lands on the payment screen, with no typing and no misspelled usernames.

Useful for a market stall, an invoice, a tip jar, or splitting a bill.

How to use it

  1. Choose your payment service.
  2. Enter your username or handle exactly as it appears in that app.
  3. Optionally set an amount, so the payer does not have to enter one.
  4. Download the code, then print it or put it on screen.

Printing a code people can actually scan

Check it before you use it

Scan your own code and confirm it lands on the right account. A typo in a username means someone else gets paid, and you will not find out until the money does not arrive.

Your privacy The code is made on your device and your details are not stored on any server. The QR code itself is public by nature: anyone who can see it can scan it, so it contains only what you would print on a sign.

Common questions

Should I set an amount?
Set one for a fixed price. Leave it open for tips or variable amounts.
Does the code expire?
No. It keeps working as long as your payment account does.
Is it safe to display publicly?
Yes. It only points at your payment page, which is the same information as telling someone your handle. It cannot take money out.
